Our story
Why we started Dirwin
When we looked at the e-bike market, we saw too many products that missed the mark. Some were overpriced. Others looked great online but didn't hold up the way riders expected in real life. Too often, people were spending a lot of money without getting the quality, dependability, or support they deserved.
That didn't sit right with us.
We started Dirwin because we believed there was a better way to build an electric bike company, one focused on bikes that are reliable, safe, and priced fairly for everyday riders, not just enthusiasts willing to overspend.
We're not trying to be the flashiest brand in the industry. We're trying to be one of the most trusted.

Safety, verified
Don't take our word for it. Check UL's.
UL Solutions is an independent safety organization. UL 2849 and UL 2271 are its safety standards for e-bike electrical systems and batteries. Each listing below links straight to UL's public database, so you can check it yourself.

E-bike electrical system
Tests the complete electrical system working together (battery, charger, motor, and controller) for fire and electrical-shock hazards.

Light electric vehicle battery
Tests the battery pack on its own, including overcharge, short-circuit, and abuse conditions, to reduce the risk of battery fires.

Why some battery links go to another company
Pioneer 2, Voyager, and Caravan 2 use battery packs designed and built by our battery partners. Their UL 2271 certification is held by the battery manufacturer, so those links open the manufacturer's UL listing instead of Dirwin's.
UL Product iQ shows a summary of each listing and may not display every model it covers. You can also confirm any UL certification directly with UL's Customer Experience Center.
